2024 Eastern Washington Riparian Planting Symposium

You are cordially invited to join us at the Wenatchee Convention Center in Orchard Hall, located at 121 N Wenatchee Ave., Wenatchee, WA 98801, on March 29th, 2024, for the Columbia Basin Riparian Restoration Symposium. Doors will open at 8:30 am, and the symposium will commence promptly at 9:30 am.

Pre-Symposium Events: March 28th Before the main event, on March 28th, we have planned exciting pre-symposium events including a site tour and a social evening. It’s an excellent opportunity to network and engage with fellow participants.

Moderators: This symposium will be moderated by Tori Wood from the Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group along with the Committee of Populus: The Columbia Basin Riparian Planting Partnership.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Coffee/Registration: Kickstart your day with a cup of coffee and complete your registration from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.
  • Welcome and Overview: Tori Wood will welcome everyone and provide an overview of the symposium.
  • Presentations: We have an exciting lineup of presentations covering topics such as Process Based Restoration, Sustainable Materials and Material Sourcing, Funding, Lessons Learned, Streambank Stabilization, Engineering Designs, and more.
  • Lunch Break: Enjoy lunch and participate in optional breakout groups from 12:10 pm to 1:30 pm.
  • Photo Contest Winners Announced: Stay tuned as we announce the winners of our photo contest.
  • Closing: Tori Wood will conclude the symposium with closing remarks at 5:20 pm.
