The Wenatchee Convention Center is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive environment for all guests. The facility complies with applicable ADA requirements, including accessible entrances, restrooms, elevators, seating options, and parking.
If your event requires specific accessibility accommodations or advance coordination, please contact the Convention Center team prior to your event so arrangements can be reviewed and confirmed.
Alcohol service & bar operations
All alcohol service at the Wenatchee Convention Center must be coordinated and provided in accordance with Washington State Liquor Control Board regulations. Alcohol may only be served by licensed staff approved by the Convention Center.
Bars close at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event end time, and the Convention Center reserves the right to close bars early if policies or laws are violated. Outside alcohol is not permitted unless explicitly approved in advance.
Animals & service animals
Only service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities are permitted inside the Wenatchee Convention Center. Emotional support animals and pets are not allowed.
Service animals must remain under the control of their handler at all times.
Auction & fundraising event policies
Auctions and fundraising events are subject to specific guidelines related to item handling, storage, and alcohol service. Review the Auction Banquet Guidelines for details.
Audio visual & technology services
The Wenatchee Convention Center provides in-house audio visual and technology services to support meetings, presentations, and events. Requests for AV services should be submitted in advance. Use of outside AV providers may require prior approval. More details can be found here.
Balloons, confetti, & decorative materials
The use of balloons, confetti, glitter, and similar decorative materials is restricted due to cleanup and safety considerations. Certain materials may require advance approval and additional cleaning fees.
Banners, signage, & displays
All banners, signage, and displays must be approved in advance and installed using approved methods that do not damage facility surfaces. Unauthorized signage may be removed.
Candles & open flame
Open flame, including candles, is subject to fire code restrictions and requires advance approval. Only approved flame-protected designs may be permitted.
Catering services & exclusivity
The Wenatchee Convention Center maintains an exclusive in house catering program. Outside food and beverage are not permitted.
Children & minors at events
Children and minors attending events must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Cleaning, damage, & repair responsibility
Event hosts, exhibitors, and vendors are responsible for any damage to the facility or equipment resulting from their activities. Excessive cleaning or repairs may result in additional charges.
Decorations & installations
All decorations and installations must be approved in advance and installed using methods that do not damage the facility. Items requiring drilling, nailing, or permanent attachment are not permitted.
Delivery, freight, & shipping
All deliveries and freight shipments must be coordinated with the Convention Center in advance. The Convention Center is not responsible for lost or unattended freight.
Electrical access & power usage
Electrical access and power usage must be approved in advance. Unauthorized electrical connections are not permitted.
Emergency procedures & compliance
All events must comply with established emergency procedures and local safety regulations. Emergency exits and access routes must remain clear at all times.
Exhibitor conduct & behavior
Exhibitors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal.
Fire safety & code compliance
All events must comply with applicable fire codes. Exits, aisles, and fire equipment may not be blocked at any time.
Food & beverage restrictions
Outside food and beverage are not permitted. Food prepared by the Convention Center may not be removed from the premises.
Generators & special equipment
Use of generators or special equipment requires advance approval and must meet safety and noise standards.
Helium & balloon use
Use of helium balloons must be approved in advance. Balloon releases are not permitted.
Deposits and payment deadlines are required to secure services. Failure to meet deadlines may result in cancellation.
Prohibited items & materials
Certain items are prohibited due to safety or legal concerns. Prohibited items may be removed.
Room setup changes & timelines
Requests for room setup changes must be submitted by required deadlines. Late changes may not be accommodated.
Security staffing requirements
Security staffing may be required based on event type and size, and the client must make their own arrangements for security;Â a copy of the contract must be provided to the Wenatchee Convention Center.
Smoking & vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the Convention Center. Designated outdoor areas may be provided.
Storage & onsite materials
Onsite storage is limited and must be approved in advance. Unapproved materials may be removed.
Trade show & exhibitor-specific policies
Trade shows are governed by additional policies related to booths, freight, electrical access, and scheduling. Exhibitors should review the Vendor Guidelines for full requirements.
Trash, recycling, & waste removal
Event organizers and vendors are responsible for proper waste disposal. Excessive cleanup may result in additional charges.
