Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce

A community of 65,000 nestled between the banks of the Columbia River and the Cascade foothills, Wenatchee is only 12 miles from Mission Ridge. Wenatchee is known for its public market, outstanding wineries, brew pubs and local cuisine (not to mention the warm, friendly character of its people).

Recognized historically as the “Apple Capital of the World” because of its tree fruit roots, Wenatchee has become a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. In the same day you can: water ski the Columbia River and ski Mission Ridge; whitewater raft the Wenatchee and Icicle rivers and mountain bike the local hill and trails; enjoy a few rounds at the Highlander Golf Course and take a snowshoe trek; and … you get the idea.

What will you pick today?

Wenatchee Downtown Association

The Mission of the Wenatchee Downtown Association is to strengthen and enrich the downtown experience.

We are cheerleaders for local small businesses, defenders of our historic downtown, promoters of local culture and ringleaders of those who will help us!

We are a non-profit organization that believes implicitly in the value of each individual’s contribution, whether it be financial contributions, great ideas or hours spent volunteering.

We are proud members of the Washington State Main Street Program and we are nationally-recognized as the 2003 National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Great American Main Street Award Winner

Local Wineries

The powerful Columbia River flows through North Central WA Wine Country as it arches against the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountain range.  On the sunny side of the mountains, we are able to grow vineyards and orchards heavily cropped with luscious fruit, on the fertile soils in our Wenatchee Valley, Quincy, Ellensburg to the Okanogan and every community in between.

Spectacular views connect the wineries of the North Central region of Washington Wine Country.  As you gaze upon the mighty Columbia you are reminded of the vast geological and humble human history that surrounds our growing region.  We have been growing fruit in this valley since the turn of the century and would like to share our stories with you.

We are proud that our wines consistently earn awards and high marks for their quality.  We invite you to enjoy the sunshine and the passion of family winemakers who create fond memories in your heart and tasty wines for your table.  If you have any questions or would like more information check out their website.
